When Rex started his facebook page some months ago he mentioned some social experiment he was going to conduct, but if he ever explained the details I missed it. So my theory is this, he continues to post his daily commentary here but has otherwise turned the blog over to the commenters withtout any further participation by our leader. Even Evil Doug's speculation about the demise of the blog did not lure him back to deny or confirm, but the rest of the "community" reacted wildly. I have no idea what the "why" or "whereto" might be, but I think Rex is watching to see how his followers do without continued interaction from him. Or maybe he is just tired (as @ED postulates) or maybe he is just ignoring us. Yes, the truth is somewhere and maybe one day he will make it known to us (of course we won't know until 5 weeks later). But I do love a good conspiracy theory.Dirigonzohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03903353503511480168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35115061.post-77413484701621070722012-01-26T19:05:35.634-05:002012-01-26T19:05:35.634-05:00@Steve in PDX - correct and it that's why I ha...@Steve in PDX - correct and it that's why I had so much trouble with it.
Don't agree it was a Tuesday as this took me a while to solve... just like a normal Thursday.
Enjoyed it!!Mighty Nisdenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00604834076817509735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35115061.post-74023695327494915042012-01-26T18:48:39.368-05:002012-01-26T18:48:39.368-05:00I have a theory. This blog is a sophisticated psychological/sociological experiment.

Participants are either subjects who have not given informed consent but are not aware that they are in an experiment, subjects who have not given informed consent but who are aware of the true nature of this blog and continue to return (myself and whatever small cadre there might be of others in the know), the experimenter(s) and, possibly, confederates presenting as subjects.
