In the NYC broadcast area there was this one TV movie/theater/television critic, a woman of a certain age, I forget her name. She'd been around forever when I first became aware of her, and she's lasted forever since. This woman was reviewing Ms LEONI's first big TV show, and the reviewer started gushing over her. She showed the enthusiasm for her that Tom Cruise showed for his inamorata of the time, jumping up and down on the couch, shouting his love, on Oprah. It was more than mere enthusiasm, the tone more than abutted pornographic, it oozed beyond the border between civilized and pornographic, forming a slimy film I can viscerally feel whenever I see or hear of Ms Leoni.
