It is the tendon. Looking it up, I see that there are extended meanings, but those don’t seem as clear.<br />Had a big argument with someone about CD’s. A teacher was chastising a class for not noticing the error in an advertisement. I pointed out that I was pretty sure I had seen it with the apostrophe. Even with the backing of the NYTimes style guide, she refused to see it as anything but wrong because it was not possessive. Not sure why people want to go through life being so pedantic and narrow.
