I was a pilot (single engine, daytime, sunny skies, had to have my mommy nearby, but still a pilot) and I am as un-Santini as they come. If you're talking military, my cousin was a helicopter pilot, three tours in Nam, gun-ships, insertion and extraction, almost daily fights. I bought a paper at the airport this morning and really enjoyed solving in the actual paper again. I ended up with some black splotches but learned quickly to write my guesses in the margin before I destroyed the grid into an unreadable mess.<br /><br />I loved this puzzle -- especially the clever cluing. <br /><br />BUT: I have to agree with the very odd TIME/TIMES crossing. It brought back memories of the COURSE/COURSE puzzle. I do believe, the "Times" they are a changing.
